This shows how to get free wifi tethering. The name of the application is “FoxFi” and does not require that your phone is rooted. It uses the same data plan that your internet data uses. I know this works with a 3G connection, but I did not test a 4G connection. This can also do bluetooth tethering but that can be someone else’s video.

This app went to hell. It costs 7 dollars and the full version is buggy and doesn’t work properly anymore. Constantly drops the connection and is extremely slow.
I have no problem with people wanting money for something that they make, but having it be free for so damn long then strong arming people into paying money for an app that doesn’t work anymore? Uninstalling it as soon as I find one that works, is free, and doesn’t require rooting the phone.

I ve been with sprint and Tmobile for over 7 years, and I was averaging 10gigs of data on sprint at one point using Easy tether app. i have never been throttled, on tmobile I have been after 5 gigs of data. just saying.
