The Android OS is very versatile. There have been phones that have 3D capabilities and still the OS holds up. Lets see Apple try to do that without making us wait 3 years and pay well over $300 also android is more vibrant in the UI design. Apple just ports the iPhone’s UI over to the iPad. Google has made a fully functional Android OS for tablets only (Android 3.0). Which easily surpasses the ios in design, reliability, features, and uniqueness.
With Apple you do not have a open source operating system. The hardware designs are proprietary and do not allow third parties to improve on it. You have to buy a completely new device every release just to enjoy a small change in the ios OS. Wasting every penny you save on a worthless overpriced piece of junk. Google’s Android OS on the other hand is completely Open Sourced and it has non-proprietory hardware designs. Google created the Android Operating System.

Apple doesn’t charge three times as much for a computer, and they aren’t half as powerful. Apple has some pretty powerful computers, the problem lies in the customization of those computers. You can’t find readily available parts to upgrade that macbook or Mac computer, and even if you do I’m pretty sure it voids any warranty. The down side to apple for me is that it’s got a lot of great programs, but more than half of the programs I want to use cannot be run on iOS.
Is this interface going to be on smartphones running I’ve cream sandwich??? I’ve got a SGS2, reallllllly want that interface

@POCentertainmentweek the ONLY thing that you got right on your non-sense speech was the open source part, everything else is just you hearing stuff from a friend of friend that knew somebody’s uncle that said all that about apple. Do your reaseach, Apple computers are expensive but not 3X as much… Apple computers are just as powerful as PC…. and there are TONS of free apps avaliable to iOS users and the paid ones go on sale if not free fairly often.

Apple created a market for the iPad, not a Tablet Computer market. These Android Tablets are great machines but not selling which supports my point. There is no “tablet PC” market, never has been.

@Brootahlizer Yes, but google asks for much less money. and google earns it, apple charges 3x as much for a computer that is 1/2 as powerful as a PC. the app store for apple is 100 for a member ship, google is 20$ most of googles products are free, and open source, apple doesnt know what open source means, nor the word ‘free’

Apple boast way too much about their products. They say their OS is lightyears ahead on features, but it isn’t. They say it’s the most advanced OS. But android has had the majority of features that they’ve only just decided to add on the sixth iPhone since the beginning.

I agree with your statement, but does that really make Apple “evil”? (I’m not implying you are saying this either).
The lazy, stupid, old, and ignorant prefer to not have open technology. It would mean, as consumers, they would have to compare products, learn the software and the system architecture, and also understand file hierarchy and hardware.
Apple’s target audience? Those people. However, they make up most of the planet, so Apple is good in that sense.
