Question by Jareo: Will tmobile android phones work on a prepaid plan?
I have the tmobile $ 15/month unlimited text + $ .10/minute prepaid plan. I really am sick of the phone I have now and it’s kind of falling apart. I wanted to get an android phone like the Motorola cliq or the mytouch on ebay or craigslist, but I would still be using it on the prepaid plan I have now (I would just put in the SIM card from my current phone). Will the phone work? I know I won’t have interent access other than wifi. (Please don’t tell me how I’m missing the point of this kind of phone or whatever, I don’t care.) I just want to make/receive calls and send text/occasional picture messages. Will the phone be able to do this on the prepaid plan?

No, I’m afraid it will not work, as I have just recently researched tmobile and any Android phone requires you to add a data (internet) add on to your current plan, so that you can access the android market and other features. If you want an android phone, you’ll have to keep your monthly plan, and add on to it the specifics that you need for which ever phone you’d want. You can go to tmobile.com, select the phone that you’re interested in buying, and it will tell you the requirements to use it.
