You need to go into the Android USB settings and you should see options of what type of USB connection do you prefer. Pick the mass storage option and you should be fine.

Question by mandyjill: Why is the space on my Android cell phone going down for no reason?
I have an Android phone with me and I keep getting a message saying space is low. I tried to delete as many apps as I could and the space barely got bigger. Everyday, the space is dropping but I barely do anything on the phone other than calling. I don’t even have a browser. I only have about 3MB left, what is the reason space is getting low and how to prevent it from getting low. Unfortunately, I am not in US now and can’t get a SD card for another 2 months. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
