Sony Google TV (NSZ-GS7) Australian Unboxing

Posted by Admin December - 2 - 2012 - Sunday

I will have a Setup/Review once I have had more time to play with the device. Feel free to subscribe to the channel. Since using it I have come into a few issues. Pros Excellent designed device especially the remote. Shows extreme quality. Cons This is supposed to be an all in one solution, basically making my TV remote void and allowing direct access to the net while watching TV. Unfortunately I do not own a cable box and use a Sony FHD LCD TV inbuilt tuner. This does not allow me then to minimise what I am watching and just use the box — I have to switch to HDMI and run from there — slightly counter intuitive. At 9 RRP I would strongly suggest Sony to incorporate an Australian specific HD setup box inside the unit — for me personally without this it loses a lot of appeal. The IR Blaster won’t allow me to turn on my TV. It is a Sony TV as well. icon smile Sony Google TV (NSZ GS7) Australian Unboxing Let me know if you have a solution to any of this — I have set it all up correctly. I have a Logitech Revue, but the system is to heavy, it feels slow, mostly all the time. And what I see on this video, isn’t fix it yet that slow performance.

But Google TV is a great project! Keep going Google!

  31. mrpacino83 says:

There’s a Google TV app you can use with your phone, and it does voice searches as well.

  32. MANSON1967 says:

The original Siri application used the icon. Apple purchased the company and the technology so it’s owned by Apple. It doesn’t matter really It just sucks that Apple gets a bad rap for this stuff. I’m an artist and if someone took my work and did a shitty job duplicating it I would be pissed. On the other hand, if they took my look and made it much better It would be hard to be pissed. I mean they are a better artist then I am.

  33. Zapren Kostadinov says:

This icon has been in Android at least a year before Siri came around. That fact is Google won’t sue anyone (even if that’s apple) because of something so small.
